RACHEL CORDOVA
OWNER
A second generation practitioner in the Cosmetology field, her first memory in a salon was when her mom did a rolller set on her dolls hair and had to prop it up on a milk crate while she was under the dryer. Rachel started cosmetology lessons in high school and became Licensed in 2005. She has dedicated most of that time acquiring deep understanding of hair color, hair coloring art, theory and design. She currently works behind the chair in a studio with an assistant and educating others. Rachel has been an educator for Alfaparf Milano since 2008 and has dedicated herself to continually learn and grow so that she can help others learn and grow by sharing her knowledge. Her main ambition has always been to elevate the perception of the industry by commanding the respect that it deserves through knowledge. In her words, inspired by one of her own mentor/educator, "What we do is a practice that takes years to hone. We don’t just ‘do hair’...We triage, we treat, we consult, we counsel and problem solve which requires brain power and dedication. We should be held with just as high regard as any other esteemed profession". As a Master Colorist, Rachel is eager to help and support her clientele with her knowledge and the best products as well as her fellow stylists with all that she has learned over the years.

ASSISTANT
I’m a June cancer. My favorite color is blue. I’m the oldest between my sister and I. I have a Maltese yorkie named Bugzy. I love to watch the avatar the last air bender. I love to hangout with friends and loved ones. I also like to express myself by wearing bright colors. My favorite part about doing hair is seeing how happy the client is. I love to do color, especially fashion colors. Doing braids is also another thing I like to do a lot. My little sister is who I practiced on and how I got into braiding hair.
